Job summary

DeCoach Recovery seeks a Medical Director (MD or DO) to lead outpatient care across Cincinnati and SW Ohio. You will oversee medicated patient treatments, guide prescribing practices, and ensure high-quality medical record documentation in a high-volume setting.

The role emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based treatment for addictions and behavioral health, with a focus on coordination with counseling teams and MAT management. Join us to improve community mental health and recovery outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD/DO in the state of Ohio.
• 1-2 years of behavioral health and/or addiction medicine preferred.
• Experience with MAT interactions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Medical interventions for clients with addictions and behavioral health needs.
• Knowledge of best-practice prescribing practices.
• Knowledge of interactions of common medications in combination with MAT prescriptions.
• Skilled in interviewing and assessing.
• Knowledge of quality medical record documentation.
• Must be professional and compassionate.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must have a strong interest in working with addictions and behavioral health.
