Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, performing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders. Presently, we are in need of additional physicians to join our group. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. All doctors with various experiences are encouraged to apply. During training, you will be compensated.

Practice Network

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week: approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401k retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekends or night call.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had any malpractice inquiries or actions.

Practice Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallows, for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered via a mobile unit.

Services and Scheduling

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit for various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day depending on volume and location. Our staff ensures that our team is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
