Job summary

Ideal Option PLLC in Eugene, OR, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our addiction medicine clinic. This full-time, on-site role supports patients from stabilization to maintenance, with collaboration across teams and a focus on evidence-based, compassionate care.

You’ll conduct patient assessments, start and adjust buprenorphine and other meds, document in eCW, and deliver care in person and via telemedicine. 40 hours/week, 4x10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Active DEA license.
• Strong and efficient communication and documentation skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered addiction care.
• No prior addiction medicine experience required!

Responsibilities

• Conduct new and established patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Initiate and manage buprenorphine and other maintenance meds.
• Administer long-acting injectables (buprenorphine, naltrexone).
• Monitor response to treatment, adjust meds, review labs.
• Collaborate with behavioral health and care coordination teams.
• Document in EMR (eCW).
• Deliver care in-person and via telemedicine.
