Job summary

Kolmac Integrated Behavioral Health in Brooklyn, MD is seeking an experienced licensed addiction counselor to grow with a dedicated, interdisciplinary team. You will manage a caseload across IOP programs, build treatment alliances, and deliver education on recovery.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland credential required: ADT, CSC-AD, or CAC-AD.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the SUD field (group treatment a plus).
• Strong clinical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Comfort working with an electronic medical record system.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group and individual sessions in IOP programs.
• Build treatment alliances and coordinate with interdisciplinary team.
• Lead case management with assessments, goals, and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, families, and other providers.
• Apply evidence-based approaches (Motivational Interviewing, CBT, trauma-informed) in daily practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation per state and CARF standards.
• Rotate on-call coverage for crisis situations outside business hours.
