Job summary

Amatus Health in Hagerstown, Maryland is seeking an Addiction Counselor to support individuals on the path to long-term recovery. You will provide individual and group counseling, help develop and monitor personalized treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 1 year of addiction counseling experience, with licensure or progression toward LPC/LCSW/LMFT or equivalent,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in addiction counseling or a related field.
Licensure/Certification LPC, LCSW, LMFT, ADT, CSC, CAC or equivalent (or working toward full licensure).

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients with addiction disorders
Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs
Conduct mental health assessments and screenings to identify underlying issues contributing to addiction
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and treatment progress
