Job summary

Consor seeks a Dive Technician to support structural assessment contracts across local, regional, and national scopes. You will prepare and operate dive equipment, assist as a bridge inspector, and contribute to on-site and topside inspections to safeguard the travelling public.

You will build reports under National Bridge Inspection Standards, maintain records, and participate in equipment maintenance and transport logistics in field environments.

Qualifications

• ADCI Commercial Diving certification is required.
• Experience or proficiency in equipment maintenance.
• Proficient technical writing skills.
• Must be physically able to perform bridge inspections in the field.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and help develop reports in accordance with National Bridge Inspection Standards requirements to determine maintenance or repair needs
• Perform emergency inspections of bridges damaged by collision, floods, etc., as required
• Maintain and prepare equipment for field inspections including dive equipment, vehicles and boats
• Maintain bridge records and files
