Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Systems / DevOps Engineer to own and advance mission critical services in our Amazon Dedicated Clouds (ADC). Based in Herndon, VA, you will work with top engineers to tackle complex cloud infrastructure challenges and deliver reliable, scalable solutions for government and critical workloads.

Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI with polygraph; you will engage with US Intelligence Community customers, debug diverse systems, and contribute to a culture

This position requires that the candidate selected must currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. Basic Qualifications

• High school or equivalent diploma, or A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+
• Experience with Linux systems administration
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems, or experience in technical support
• 1+ years of computer networking experience, or experience in networking
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of cloud computing experience
• 1+ years of computer networking experience
• 3+ years of work supporting procedures and methodologies for production computing environments experience
• Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex, production software issues
• Experience using data, reporting, or tools to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
