Job summary

Ford Motor Company seeks an ADAS Sensing Systems Validation Engineer to validate and continuously improve sensing performance across Ford’s vehicle lineup. You will develop rigorous validation methods at the component, system, and vehicle levels, accounting for diverse environments and cross-carline variability.

You’ll partner with Hardware/Software, Systems Engineering, and Suppliers to keep V&V activities aligned with project goals and pursue opportunities to apply HIL and CAE techniques for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Robotics, Controls, Aerospace, CS or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred in same/related field.
• Experience with data collection and analysis in lab, HIL, and vehicle test environments.
• Knowledge of ADAS sensing systems and associated hardware (radars, cameras, lidars, sensors).
• Experience with verification and validation tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute design validation methods for ADAS sensing across components, systems, and vehicles.
• Define use cases, requirements, and performance targets for ADAS sensing systems.
• Collaborate with hardware/software teams and suppliers to align V&V activities with project goals.
• Improve system designs and interfaces to ensure consistent sensing performance.
• Apply HIL/CAE methods for platform verification and test data analysis.

Education
