You will collaborate with software and controls teams to define fault thresholds, lead root-cause analyses, and develop troubleshooting guides. This is a hybrid role with a competitive salary band.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in vehicle systems engineering.
• 2+ years with automotive diagnostics (DTCs, DIDs).
• Familiarity with UDS/ISO 14229 and OBD.
• Experience translating stakeholder needs into technical requirements.
• Strong learning agility and systems thinking.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own diagnostic strategy for ADAS features.
• Author diagnostic specifications and behavioral models.
• Design diagnostic architecture per UDS/OBD standards.
• Serve as intake and owner for enhanced diagnostics requests.
• Collaborate with software/controls engineers on fault thresholds.
• Lead root-cause investigations for diagnostic anomalies.
• Develop troubleshooting guides and diagnostic documentation.
• Define and execute validation criteria for diagnostics.
• Manage DTC lifecycle across the product lifecycle.
