Job summary

Ford in Dearborn is seeking an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to advance our ADAS cybersecurity development for next-gen ECUs. You will lead threat modeling, MBSE-driven architecture, and cross-functional integration across hardware, software and sensors to ensure robust cybersecurity implementations.

The role emphasizes ISO 21424 compliance, risk assessment, and collaboration with internal teams and partners to deliver secure ADAS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity or equivalent.
• 3+ years in systems engineering/product development.
• 2+ years in automotive cybersecurity domain.
• Experience with threat modeling and risk assessment.
• Experience with MBSE tools (e.g. Magic Draw, MATLAB, Simulink).
• Experience with hardware/software interfaces and validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity process application and development of work products for ADAS programs while ensuring ISO 21424 compliance.
• Support ECU threat modeling and risk assessment to identify vulnerabilities and countermeasures.
• Design and develop the cybersecurity architecture for next-gen ADAS platform with hardware, software and sensors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Support MBSE-driven development, interface analysis, and robustness actions across the platform.
