Job summary

The Boyd Group LLC in Carrollton, Texas is seeking an Automotive ADAS Technician to join our service team. You will handle customer interactions, perform vehicle testing and ADAS calibrations, generate invoices, manage inventory, and help keep the shop running smoothly.

We offer a competitive pay range from $60,000 to $95,000 per year, full-time hours Monday through Friday, with overtime as applicable, and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess high school degree or GED equivalent.
• 4 years relevant automotive/electronic technician experience.
• Knowledge of OE scan tools.
• Wiring repair procedures.
• Ability to service A/C systems.
• Strong diagnostic skills in automotive trades.
• Basic computer skills (email, spreadsheets, messaging).

Responsibilities

• Determines testing and analysis by communicating with shop representatives and reviews all estimates for repair.
• Performs diagnostic testing, programming, ADAS calibrations and analysis.
• Performs wiring repairs.
• Advises shop of needed repairs.
• Keeps inventory of stock, communicating with support staff for needed orders and verifying order receipts.
• Writes, prints and emails service invoices.
• Collects signature or payment for work performed.
• Delivers completed invoices and payments to office in orderly manner.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshoots breakdowns; maintains supplies; performs preventative maintenance; advises management of repairs; keeps Google Drive up to date.
• Collaborates with teammates according to PPT guidelines to schedule/complete jobs.
• Other duties, as assigned
