Job summary

Toyota North America’s Integrated Vehicle Systems organization seeks an ADAS Applications Engineer to advance radar, sonar, and camera-based systems for next-generation mobility.

The role collaborates across engineering teams, suppliers, and global partners to deliver high-quality ADAS solutions that enhance safety, performance, and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will develop, calibrate, and apply ADAS technologies across vehicle programs in NA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience supporting electronics or ADAS development.
• Experience managing projects with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical system documentation.
• Knowledge of ADAS fundamentals, electrical circuitry, and vehicle electrical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and apply ADAS components and systems across vehicle programs.
• Collaborate with design, evaluation, manufacturing, and project management teams to meet objectives.
• Lead product development milestones with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Create development schedules and manage risks to protect program targets.
• Investigate issues and develop countermeasures with engineering partners.
• Benchmark competitor vehicles and emerging tech to drive improvements.
