Job summary

Nurturing Water Therapies is seeking Adaptive Swim Instructors to provide one-to-one instruction for neurodivergent children and adults, including those with sensory, communication, behavioral, physical, and anxiety-related challenges. Training will be provided, and you’ll partner with compassion to make water safe and enjoyable.

This flexible part-time role offers hands-on experience, meaningful work, and the opportunity to help swimmers gain confidence in the water across Seattle area

Qualifications

• Provide one-on-one adaptive swim instruction for neurodivergent swimmers.
• Experience with children or individuals with disabilities is beneficial.
• Willingness to be trained to support adaptive swimming needs.

Responsibilities

• Build trust and connection with each swimmer.
• Adapt instruction to individual needs.
• Support water safety and functional swimming skills.
• Use visual and communication strategies to aid learning.
