Job summary

SESI, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a dedicated special education teacher. You will address learning, social, and emotional gaps, collaborating with school teams and families to apply SESI's evidence-based models, including PBIS CASE, to support student success.

You will work in diverse classrooms with a focus on individualized instruction, smaller group sizes, and data-driven progress monitoring across in-district and standalone sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI's instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
