Job summary

Compass Center, Inc. seeks clinicians to join a supportive, clinician-centered pediatric therapy team, delivering in-home and community-based services.

Create engaging, skill-building experiences and provide individualized treatment planning and coordination with families. Candidates should have a degree in child development, social work, education, psychology, or a related field, with at least one year of experience with children/teens with special needs, strong communication, and willingness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in child development, social work, education, psychology, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience with children/teens with special needs (highly preferred) or with children/teens.
• Strong communication and collaboration with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Create a fun, rewarding experience to generate a highly motivating environment to increase the level of skill development and performance for every client
• Conduct assessments
• Emphasize functional daily living and social skills necessary for clients to become active members of their family and community
• Work in client homes and in the community
• Provide individualized treatment planning, case management, and ongoing support to clients and families
• Maintain high standards of care
