Job summary

National Ability Center in Park City, Utah seeks Seasonal Ski and Snowboard Instructors to deliver on-snow experiences for participants with disabilities. Instructors will be paired with participants after mandatory training and will lead safe, fun programming on the mountain at McGrath Mountain Center.

Instructors must demonstrate intermediate to advanced skiing or riding skills, attend late November trainings, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate intermediate to advanced skiing and/or riding skills.
• Attend mandatory training sessions beginning late November.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and/or group instruction using adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Uphold safety and risk management protocols in a caring environment.
• Ensure participants use equipment appropriate to their needs.
• Complete required documentation after lessons.
• Represent National Ability Center programs, events, and activities in the community.
• Pursue continuing education in adaptive methods to promote growth and empowerment.
