Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex Area Patrol Driver in Bloomington, MN. You will perform patrols, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and support client needs across diverse sites while working irregular shifts.

Qualifications

• Available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights and weekends.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Possess a valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy.
• Be willing to accept last‑minute shift scheduling.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants undergo a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
