Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver in Bloomington, MN to support a variety of sites with flexible, irregular shifts. The role offers 30-40 hours per week and a pay rate of $22.04 per hour, with opportunities for growth within a nationwide security leader.

You will patrol designated areas, monitor entrances, and respond to incidents while maintaining professional conduct and strong situational awareness across assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation for Branch Flex assignments.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling for Branch Flex assignments.
• Must be able to travel the required distance for Branch Flex assignments.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background investigation and drug screening required by law and policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and manage access points.
• Observe departing personnel to protect property and ensure authorized removals.
• Investigate incidents and maintain written logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site orders.
