Advocate Health in Oshkosh, WI is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapy Assistant to support evaluation and treatment of patients in acute care rehabilitation. The role involves assisting the OT, documenting progress, and aiding discharge planning with family education.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assist., BLS, and Wisconsin OTA license. No prior experience required; POS may include PRN weekdays and one weekend per month.

Responsibilities

• Assist the OT in evaluating patient abilities and impact on daily living.

• Complete documentation with co-signatures and track patient progress and statistics.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and assist with equipment handling.
• Use modalities and exercise equipment per department orientation and safety signs.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and coverage planning.
• Pursue professional growth and orient new staff as requested.
• Provide age-appropriate care and consider life-span development.
