Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a dedicated program instructor to plan, organize, and lead value-driven activities for participants in vibrant youth development programs.

You will maintain attendance records, manage equipment, and ensure a safe, engaging environment while communicating effectively with families and staff. This role requires reliability and the ability to motivate participants during Friday night sessions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year prior teaching or instructional experience.
• Ability to develop and teach skill-based activities.
• Comfort using technology for program needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and lead activities and games for participants.
• Maintain records (attendance, rosters) and manage equipment.
• Ensure safety and a clean, risk-free environment.
• Communicate with participants and parents in a timely manner.
• Promote other YMCA programs and refer questions appropriately.
