Job summary

Swim Corps USA LLC is seeking an Adaptive and Private Swim Instructor in Temecula, CA. You will deliver one-on-one lessons, adapt for students with disabilities, and build water-safety skills across ages and abilities.

You will design personalized plans, monitor progress, and maintain a safe, supportive pool environment while communicating with families and guardians. CPR/First Aid/WSI are required or pursued.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a swim instructor with adaptive or special needs teaching.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and WSI Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Familiarity with adaptive aquatics techniques and inclusive teaching strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students of all ages.
• Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic approach to diverse learners.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Strong swimming proficiency and comfort around water.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one private swim lessons tailored to each student's skill level and goals
• Provide adaptive swim instruction for students with physical, cognitive, or developmental disabilities
• Develop individualized lesson plans that promote water safety, technique, and swimmer confidence
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instruction methods as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and encouraging pool environment at all times
• Communicate progress and feedback effectively with students, parents, and guardians
• Ensure compliance with all aquatic safety standards and protocols
