Job summary

Qualifications

• Michigan Teaching Certificate with endorsed Adapted PE or willingness to obtain within three years of hire.
• Experience with students with moderate to severe disabilities; aquatics preferred.
• Strong communication and data-entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement adapted motor skills and physical education activities according to IEP goals.
• Coordinate direct instruction for students with disabilities in small groups.
• Collect data and report progress to the IEP team.
• Collaborate with teachers, OTs, and PTs; supervise paraprofessionals as needed.
• Ensure safety during activities in school, recreation, and pool settings.
