Job summary

Frisco ISD is looking for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide direct instruction and consultation for students needing adapted physical education. Candidates must hold a valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements, possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field, and preferably have CAPE certification. This role requires excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to assess and instruct students with unique needs. Working conditions involve regular interaction with students and multi-location travel within the district.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate required with special education and/or physical education endorsements.
• Certified Adapted Physical Educator (CAPE) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction and teacher consultation for students requiring modified PE programs.
• Plan and deliver group adapted physical education services as outlined in the IEP.
• Participate in the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) Committee processes.
