The position demands a valid Texas PE certificate, a Bachelor’s degree, and experience with students with disabilities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas P.E. certificate required.
• Master’s degree and all-level PE certification preferred.
• Texas EC-12 Special Education certificate and CAPE exam beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Assess students using IEPs and provide modifications for Adapted Physical Education.
• Collaborate with ARD committee on placement decisions and strategies.
• Maintain IEP progress reports and confidential records; update annually.
• Develop instructional materials to meet TEKS objectives for PE.
• Provide in-service training to paraprofessionals on adaptations.
