• Alternate: Illinois Paraprofessional Approval or high school diploma

Responsibilities

• Assist students across classroom, lunch, recess, restroom and other settings
• Frequent walking, standing, and interactions with students
• Monitor student behavior and maintain safety and order
• Leave notes for the regular paraprofessional at day end
• Communicate positively with parents, students and staff
• Protect equipment, materials and facilities at all times
