Qualifications

• NJ Certification in Health and Physical Education is required.
• 1–3 years' experience with special needs students at middle/high school level.

Responsibilities

• Modifies and provides instruction per each pupil's IEP.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Sets objectives in lesson prep and follows through with presentations.
• Uses diverse assessment tools to inform instruction and applies technology.
• Collaborates with staff to monitor pupil progress and provide support.
• Maintains records of progress and prepares reports.
• Maintains classroom behavior standards to support learning.
• Communicates with parents about pupil progress.
