Job summary

American Leadership Academy seeks a passionate substitute teacher to adapt to varied learning styles and push students toward excellence. The role involves managing classrooms, delivering lesson plans, and communicating progress within a school setting.

This part-time on-contract position focuses on Pre-K–12 subjects, with flexibility in the schedule and strong support from the school. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's and have experience with Teams and SIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent.
• Texas Teaching Certificate preferred.
• Previous teaching experience is required.
• Strong classroom management skills are essential.
• Ability to build rapport with students and communicate effectively.
• Knowledge of Pre-K–12 core subjects (English, Math, Science, History).
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and Student Information System.

Responsibilities

• Manage and educate students in a classroom setting.
• Implement lesson plans at varying academic levels.
• Establish academic goals and milestones with students.
• Document and communicate progress reports.
• Provide constructive feedback for students.
