Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking Registered Nurses to collaborate with physicians and a healthcare team in delivering patient care. The role encompasses nursing assessments, exams, treatments, patient education, and medical records maintenance.

Nursing levels are defined by experience (RN I through RN IV). Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas licensure (or temporary/compact license), and BLS certification.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
Current Texas license to practice professional nursing or a temporary/compact license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by unit.

Responsibilities

Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients per nursing skills inventory and patient age/needs.
Coordinates nursing care planning with interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
Collaborates with healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes based on data and standards.
Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans.
Participates in program evaluation and process improvement to enhance client outcomes.
Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies; manages resources efficiently.
Promotes professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor to staff.
