Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing skills inventory and age/needs of the patient.
• Coordinates planning for delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team and makes clinical decisions.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes.
• Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans.
• Participates in program evaluation and process improvement to improve client-centered outcomes.
• Adheres to regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards; ensures safety and quality of service.
• Supports professional growth and may serve as preceptor or mentor to staff.
