Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in the Structured Learning Lab with identified students with disabilities.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist in classroom organization.
• Reinforce appropriate behavior per ARD plan and assist with discipline as needed.
• Supervise small groups of students in community settings when required.
• Contribute to a positive school climate through praise and support.
• Assist students with personal care tasks as needed (per student plan).
• Maintain equipment and supplies, and stay up-to-date professionally through staff development.
