Adams Kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee the kitchen department, manage the team, ensure quality in prepared items, and streamline workflows while delivering exceptional customer experiences to hit business goals.

You will lead staffing, training, scheduling, and development, ensuring compliance with food safety and labor laws, and maintaining clean, safe workspaces. Strong leadership and commitment to Adams’ standards are essential.

For the Kitchen department manager, this means overseeing Kitchen operations, managing the team, ensuring quality in kitchen prepared items and related products, streamlining workflows and delivering exceptional customer experiences to achieve business goals.

Your Day-to-Day

• Deliver exceptional customer service by creating a welcoming environment, maintaining high standards, and resolving customer concerns.
• Oversee daily department operations, including merchandising, inventory management, ordering, and product quality, while minimizing shrink and waste.
• Manage financial performance by controlling payroll, expenses, and profit margins, and reviewing reports to support decision-making.
• Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members, fostering a positive culture through clear communication, coaching, and accountability.
• Coordinate staffing, attendance, and coverage to ensure smooth operations, including handling callouts and unexpected challenges.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, labor laws, and company policies while maintaining clean, organized, and safe workspaces.
• Plan menus, promotions, and custom orders, collaborating with other departments to support variety and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in a timely manner to support overall department and store goals.

What you bring to the Farm

• Decision making skills on behalf of the Kitchen
• Full knowledge on all operations of the Kitchen; 5 years of Kitchen experience & 3-5 years of managerial experience
• Kitchen professional leadership experience
• Awareness and driving support office initiatives
• Windows programs and communication tools
• Work collaboratively, communicate, and lead a team of co-workers alongside store management
• Ability to demonstrate, encourage, and set the example of Adams’ culture and values
• Exhibit enthusiasm, positivity and/or knowledge about Adams’ products and quality
• Experience gained through growth and leadership within Adams may also be considered, provided the candidate can demonstrate proven ability to lead teams, support daily kitchen operations, and uphold Adams’ standards for quality and service.

Working Conditions

• Must be 18 years old
• Consistently move, adjust, and position items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for duration of shift
• Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee department operations
• Occasionally ascend/descend a stepstool, stepladder, and/or ladder
• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers for duration of shiftCommunicate with others to exchange information
• Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks including in tight and confined space
