Job summary

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma, be 18+, hold a valid driver license and required licensure, and bring prior Mercy Public Safety experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and minimum age of 18.
• Valid driver license and required Public Safety licensure as applicable.
• Meets or surpasses all requirements of Public Safety Officer IV.
• Completion of Functional Job Screening annually.
• 24+ months of active Mercy Public Safety/Security experience or equivalent.
• Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, secure environment for Mercy facilities and personnel.
• Supervise officers and manage safety programs as directed.
• Operate and monitor Omnigo, access control, and surveillance systems.

• iii. Supervises officers, processes or programs as directed by the Public Safety Coordinator, Manager or Director (including but not limited to)

• vii. Completes specialized training regarding program or process which is being supervised (within 180 days of advancement)
