Zusammenfassung

Hearst Television in Charlotte seeks a Continuity Specialist to support our Ad Operations unit across Hearst Television’s stations. Based at our modern hub, you will manage primary and digital channels commercial copy for multiple markets and time zones.

You will handle traffic instructions, interpret copy, build rotation sets in WideOrbit, coordinate with Content Distribution Specialists, and ensure timely material delivery. Onsite attendance is required and extensive training is provided.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of agency commercial instruction terminology preferred.
• Working knowledge of WideOrbit Traffic System preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred.
• Onsite attendance is required.

Aufgaben

• Maintain, assign, and process traffic instruction files from agencies and advertisers.
• Receive all traffic instructions from station clients.
• Interpret commercial copy and agency instructions.
• Search orders for applicable instructions.
• Coordinate house number assignment and disposition with Content Distribution Specialists.
• Build instruction/rotation sets in WideOrbit and assign to orders.
• Coordinate with Content Distribution Specialists for materials.
• Review and issue copy log changes as necessary.
• Communicate missing instructions and materials to agency/station personnel.
• Coordinate with Station Specialist movement or preemption of spots for missing material.
• Maintain electronic files of all instruction copies.
• Serve as station contact for non-local commercial instructions.
