Job summary

Mercy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed programs, ensuring compliance with the State Practice Act while supporting department growth through special projects.

You will be responsible for delivering therapy within scope, maintaining current BLS certification, and coordinating activities in patient care programs to promote best outcomes for patients in Oklahoma.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed OT programs.
• Promote growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and coordinating activities in patient care programs.
• Deliver therapy within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with rules and regulations.
