Job summary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents aged 7‑17? NSBH is looking for a dedicated Therapist to join our Acute program, working Monday to Friday.

What You’ll Do

• Manage a caseload of 8‑10 kids.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions weekly.
• Offer groups daily.
• Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure successful discharge.

• Utilize your strong time‑management and organizational skills.

Location: Beautiful Leesburg, Virginia, 40 miles Northwest of Washington D.C. (45‑acre campus, gymnasium, outdoor spaces, high‑ropes course). Excellent public school system.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in a human services field (e.g., psychology, social work, counseling, education).
• Preferred: Licensed in the state of Virginia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) or must be resident in counseling. Preference given to candidates with CSOTP and/or CSAC.
• Some experience with children/adolescents.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Subject to pre‑employment drug screen and criminal background investigation.
