Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Jacksonville, FL, seeks a Registered Nurse to join our staffing team on local contracts in an acute rehab facility. You will provide patient-centered care in a clean, safe environment and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, has BLS, and can work flexible hours; ACLS is preferred. At least one year of hospital experience and proficiency with electronic charting are expected.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license.
• Experience as RN in an acute rehabilitation hospital.
• The desire to care for patients in an acute care setting and act with integrity.
• Must have 1 year hospital experience and be efficient in electronic charting.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and tasks performed per regulations
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed
