Job summary

Lifepoint Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital team, operating in Ashland, KY at UK King's Daughter Medical Center. This PRN opportunity supports inpatient rehab services and patient mobility goals.

As a PTA, you will administer interventions under the supervision of a PT, assist with mobility and exercise, monitor patient responses, document progress, and maintain a safe treatment environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred; inpatient or SNF experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
