Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited school of Radiology program.
• National ARRT certification and licensure by state where applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Typically 1 year of experience.
• Demonstrates effective communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Performs prescribed radiographic procedures according to policies.
• Educates patients and families about procedures and risks, and fosters teamwork.
• Produces high-quality images and maintains documentation for interpretation.
• Performs invasive/interventional procedures if applicable per policy.
• Performs equipment quality control measurements and troubleshoots issues.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to safety policies.
• Maintains confidentiality of all work information and professional responsibilities.
• Supports department workflow and inventory to ensure uninterrupted services.
