Job summary

Novant Health in Charlotte is seeking a Radiology Technologist II – Acute to join our REMARKABLE acute care team. The technologist operates x-ray equipment and prepares patients to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting, working with inpatient, outpatient, ER, fluoroscopy, portables, and OR.

Requirements include ARRT-certified radiography, ARRT certification within 6 months, state licensure as required, and an associate degree (2-year) preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certification required within 6 months of hire post-graduation from an accredited Radiology Program.
• 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting.
• Inpatient & outpatient procedures, the emergency room, fluoroscopy, portables, and the operating rooms.
