Job summary

Novant Health's Mint Hill Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist II Acute to join our REMARKABLE acute care team. This full-time night shift with weekend rotation supports inpatient, ER, and operating room imaging, including portable studies.

You will work independently or with physicians/APCs to obtain diagnostic images, perform fluoroscopy, and ensure patient safety while applying ALARA principles.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program.
• Certification required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 Year/Associate Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and operate x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting.
• Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures in inpatient/outpatient settings, ER, OR, and mobile imaging.
• Assist licensed practitioners and maintain ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
