Job summary
Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (UBHC) in Piscataway, NJ, seeks an Assistant Nurse Manager for the Acute Psychiatric Services (APS) department. The ANM will supervise patient care, support staff, and ensure quality, safety, and patient satisfaction across shifts.

Qualifications
- Two years of progressively responsible nursing experience, including one year in the service area.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Jersey.
Responsibilities
- Supervise delivery of quality patient care and supervise clinical staff.
- Manage high-risk situations to meet standards of practice.
- Coordinate interdepartmental communication to improve patient care.
- Interpret nursing concepts and translate into nursing services across age groups.
- Plan safe staffing based on patient acuity and staff plan.
- Support budgeting and control unit expenses.
- Uphold dignity and professional environment for patients and staff.
