Job summary

Mercy Medical Center Redding, part of Dignity Health, is seeking an RN to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. You will perform assessments, plan care, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

Requirements include an Associate's degree in nursing, CA RN license, BLS through AHA, and 1 year of acute care experience. BSN preferred. Pay range is $54.43–$73.98 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing is required.
• 1 year of acute care experience or nursing practice experience.
• Current California RN license required.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Written and verbal communication skills and computer skills required.
• Operations-ready candidates with less than 1 year of acute care experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine physical/psychosocial assessment and data collection.
• Formulates a plan of care for individual needs and patient population.
• Adapts education to individual patients and families during care delivery.
• Ensures efficient delivery of care and prioritizes immediate needs.
• Makes independent clinical decisions based on education and experience.
• Advocates for patient rights and seeks resolution for conflicts.
