CHRISTUS Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to attend to patient needs under supervision in the hospital. The role supports nursing staff, records vital signs, and maintains patient charts in a fast-paced environment.

Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with prior hospital experience preferred and BLS certification required. Work schedule is full-time, typically 7 AM to 7 PM, in Santa Fe, NM.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a Nurse Assistant in a hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Attends to patient needs under the supervision of the unit charge person.
• Meets expectations of the CHRISTUS Health competencies and professional standards.
• Takes vital signs and reports them to the nurse.
• Keeps patient records current and accurately documents information.
• Relays messages and coordinates with care team to ensure timely care.
• Assists with scheduling and coordinating patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Ensures charts and forms are provided for documentation and orders are entered promptly.
