Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider for the Acute Neurosurgical Services team at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. The APP collaborates with neurosurgeons to manage trauma, critical care, spine, neurovascular, and tumor patients.

This weekend option midshift role focuses on quality patient care, thorough documentation, and coordination across departments. Master’s degree required with Indiana APRN/PA licensure and NCCPA or AAPA certification; BLS

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Nursing with National Certification as an Adult, Acute Care, or Family Nurse Practitioner or Masters from an accredited Physician Assistant Program and national certification from NCCPA or AAPA.
• Requires current Indiana State license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant
• Current BLS Certification
• Preferred neurosurgical experience; 2+ years in ED/trauma/ICU/inpatient setting.

Responsabilités

• Manage multiple patient populations in acute neurosurgical services.
• Collaborate with Neurosurgeons to maintain continuity of care and facilitate progression of patient through the health system.
• Assist with collaboration with other hospital teams in a multi-disciplinary fashion.
• Provide education to patients and families and document care thoroughly.
