Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist II acute care professional for Huntersville Medical Center. You will prepare patients and operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans across inpatient, ED, outpatient, and OR settings.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and accuracy, with ARRT MR certification within 6 months of hire and an associate degree as preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; ARRT MR program may be required.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program.
• Minimum one year MR experience preferred.
• NH Medical Center-certified and ARRT MR RT within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans in acute care.
• Support inpatient, ED, outpatient, and OR procedures including trauma imaging.
• Work across acute care settings and rotate through facilities as needed.
