Barnes-Jewish Hospital (South Campus) seeks a part-time RN for night shifts on Unit 5200 Acute Care Medicine, a 17-bed unit. The role focuses on direct patient care and collaboration with the interprofessional team.

The RN delivers assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, educates patients and families, and participates in safety and quality initiatives. Shift differentials and tuition assistance are available.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required.
• RN license required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and their families on managing illness and home care needs.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver.
• Communicates plan of care across the continuum of care.
