Job summary

University Hospitals in Ohio seeks a Registered Nurse for the Acute Medical-Surgical unit. You provide safe, age-specific nursing care using the nursing process to assist patients and families to attain optimal health status.

You will collaborate with the care team, document care accurately, and participate in orientation and PHI compliance. A current OH RN license (or multi-state) and BLS are required; ACLS/PALS may be required by unit.

Qualifications

• ADN is required with RN license (OH or multi-state)
• BSN preferred for qualification
• MN preferred for qualification
• BLS required upon hire
• ACLS/PALS may be required by unit

Responsibilities

• Deliver relationship-based nursing care using the nursing process.
• Demonstrate technical skills to ensure safe practice and outcomes.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate to optimize patient care.
