Job summary

WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital in Lebanon County, PA, seeks a dedicated nursing professional to join 2 East/3 East/4 East Medical/Surgical units. The role combines TE telemetry experience with comprehensive bedside care across adult medical and surgical patients, including acute cardiac and post-procedure support.

Responsibilities include vitals capture, ADL assistance, EKGs, and point-of-care testing, with a focus on patient safety, quality care, and teamwork on an evening/night schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience. Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire; Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides general nursing care and personal care assistance to patients, including activities of daily living.
• Monitors patient condition levels and reports changes to the registered nurse.
• Keeps patients safe through hourly rounds and proper safety practices.
• Performs Point-of-Care testing and related quality checks; assists with tests and specimen collection.
• Train and precept new employees and support a collaborative team environment.
