About This Role

The Acute Intake Manager provides operational leadership for the Acute Intake team, ensuring timely patient access, referral progression, and quality oversight. This role is ideal for a patient-centered leader who excels in building accountable teams and improving patient journeys.

Highlights

• Pay: $72,800 - $130,000/year
• Location: Chandler, AZ
• Schedule: Full Time, Day shift (preferred 10:30am-7pm CST)
• Residency: Must reside in the West Coast/Mountain Time Zone
• Work Style: Fully remote

What You'll Do

• Lead daily Acute Intake operations, including referral prioritization and workload balancing
• Provide direct leadership to supervisors and/or Intake Coordinators through hiring and development
• Monitor referral aging, authorization progress, and onboarding status; ensure timely escalation of complex cases
• Partner with various departments to advance referrals and reduce delays
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to HIPAA and quality standards
• Use operational reporting to identify trends and support leadership decisions
• Lead root cause analysis and process-improvement efforts
• Serve as the operational subject matter expert for Chronic Intake
