Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Per Diem Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN - Dialysis to join our Chicago facilities. The role requires at least 1 year of dialysis experience and supports patient care across treatment cycles in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation, while coordinating with the care team, and ensuring safety and compliance with policy. Part-time, on-site position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• RN with dialysis experience preferred; min 2 years nephrology nursing in last 2 years.
• Must have current state nursing licensure and CPR/BLS.
• ENTRY level for CAP 2 possible for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients.
• Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care and document in medical records.
• Collaborate with RN staff, LVN/LPNs, and patient care techs to deliver safe care.
• Direct and provide education to patients and families as needed.
• Maintain safety, adhere to policies, and participate in quality improvement.
